GOTIPUA-TRADITIONAL DANCE FORM OF ODISSA PRESENTED AT BHAVAN’S ADARSHA VIDYALAYA ON FRIDAY 12TH JULY 2024
The school hosted Gotipua, an Odissi dance organised by SPIC MACAY and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra under the able coordinator, Sri Unni Varrier. The programme aims at promoting traditional dance form and music nationwide. This annual programme aims at spreading a cultural outreach to students at schools. This Oddissi dance is performed by young boys dressed as women to praise Lord Jaganath and Lord Krishna. The whole school witnessed this splendid dance performance and appreciated the collective work of team of artistes.
