Kindergarten

Bhavan’s Bala Mandir, the kindergarten section of Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad, functions in the sprawling campus of the school.

The school believes in the holistic development of children. Since its inception the institution has strived to achieve this goal. Through hard work and utmost devotion, the teaching and non-teaching staff of the kindergarten section ensure that each child learns through active participation and develops all the motor skills.

The few hours that the child spends at school unleashes his/her creativity and innate skills in a free and spirited way. The school primarily aims at building social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills of a child.

School begins with an assembly in which the prayer, pledge, exercise and meditation form the integral part. Children are encouraged to speak on a topic of their choice. This not only enriches their vocabulary but also builds their confidence. Rhymes, stories and topics that enhance general knowledge are introduced regularly. Puppet shows and dramatization enlivens the learning process.

All festivals are celebrated with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Each and every child is encouraged to perform on stage for the Children’s Day.

The teachers introduce new ideas everyday so that the children love their kindergarten days.

INAUGURATION OF NEW KG BLOCK

The  New Kindergarten block of Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya Kakkanad was inaugurated by Shri Jagdish Lakhani, Joint Secretary and Registrar of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai on Monday, 27 May 2024. The aesthetically constructed spacious block with well knitted resources has given a new facelift to the kindergarten session which would be  quite welcoming to the tiny tots  joining the school in June.

Shankaranarayanan, Honorary Secretary BVB Kochi Kendra,Smt Kalyani NP Principal, Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya, Mrs. Jyothi Pradeep, Vice Principal, Mrs. Jyothirmayi, Assistant Vice Principal, Shri Sapna Abraham, KG Head, Educational officers from Kochi Kendra,Principals, vice principals, assistant vice principals from sister institutions, teachers and wellwishers graced the occasion.

The ceremony, accompanied by traditional percussion music, added to the spirit of the inauguration .

The inauguration of the new building is a part of the golden jubilee celebrations of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kochi Kendra.
